And beside the solution that we should eat a small piece at a time, I think another question is how to process the "elephan meat" into various delicious dishes for eaters. How do you think about it?

A project for women with disabilities in Ho Chi Minh city

My association has just started being cooperatively involved in a small project for women with disabilities which is named, "Handicapped women: Social barriers and integration solutions". Perhaps it is the first special project for women with disabilities being carried out in Ho Chi Minh city in Viet Nam. The project is supported by Vietnam - Sweden Gender Fund.

It includes some activities such as training women with disabilities and social workers who work for related-disability organizations on gender equality, doing research in social barriers that face women with disabilities and financing women with disabilities who set themselves up in small business.

Although it is just a small project which is carried out within 1 year, I think it shows that women with disabilities' issues are being concerned and studied more seriously.

Human Rights and Disability Asia 2006

During 2006 two Sida International Training Programmes on Human Rights and Disability will be organised by SHIA.
